Not only was Katie Harris born at ThedaCare-Appleton, it’s also the place she chose to start her career as a nurse. Soon after, Katie left to see the world as a travel nurse. When COVID-19 spread across the nation, putting healthcare workers to the test, Katie had her choice of places to serve. She was inspired to return to ThedaCare-Appleton, to provide care and comfort for her home community in a time of need.
