Each year, ThedaCare produces a Community Benefit Report which highlights important efforts advancing both healthcare and health and wellbeing in the communities we serve. It also, includes a summary of total Community Benefit provided.
Community Benefit is the term used to describe the value of all the supports provided to the community to address unmet needs for which ThedaCare is NOT reimbursed. (This includes nine IRS categories such as Community Health Education, Subsidized Services, Research, Charity Care and Medicaid Losses, Medical Professions training, and more.)
