Current Visitor Restrictions at ThedaCare Locations

At ThedaCare, the first priority is protecting the health and wellness of our patients, team members and visitors.

Due to the presence of coronavirus COVID-19 nationwide and in our immediate region, ThedaCare is implementing the following visitor restrictions until further notice.

Masking is required at all times throughout ThedaCare locations.

  • No visitors for COVID patients, except limited, approved, pre-arranged visitation for end of life.
  • Non-COVID patients may have one visitor during normal visiting hours. Visitors must remain masked at all times, and stay in the patient’s room.
  • One parent/guardian allowed to accompany:
    1. Minor
    2. Patient with medical need (intellectual and/or developmental disability or cognitive impairment).
  • Patients presenting for outpatient care in a hospital or clinic setting are allowed to enter with their minor children, if no alternative. Children must be wearing a mask at all times.

Restrictions by Location

  • Non-COVID patients may have one visitor during normal visiting hour guidelines. Visitors must remain masked at all times, and stay in the patient’s room for duration of the visit.

  • For Family Birth Care, the above visitor restrictions will be enforced, including one visitor at a time during normal visiting hours. No children under the age of 16 are allowed.

  • Visitors should remain physically distanced from staff and other residents during their visits.
  • If a new case of COVID-19 is identified among residents or staff, all in-person visitation will be immediately suspended until outbreak testing has been completed and no positive cases have been revealed.
