Each year, ThedaCare produces a Community Benefit Report that highlights important efforts that advance both health care and health and well-being in the communities we serve. It also includes a summary of total Community Benefit provided.
Community Benefit is the term used to describe the value of all the supports provided to the community to address unmet needs for which ThedaCare is NOT reimbursed. (This includes nine IRS categories such as Community Health Education, Subsidized Services, Research, Charity Care, Medicaid Losses, Medical Professions Training, and more.)
