Community Funds
Community Funds assist in countless ways. Areas of outreach include keeping medical care accessible to rural neighbors, educating young drivers about trauma prevention, lending a financial hand to senior citizens or families in need, or investing in lifesaving medical equipment, facilities and services.

Their contributions include purchasing 3-D breast tomosynthesis machines for breast center locations in Neenah and Appleton. With 3-D mammography, doctors see clearer, more complete images. This can show areas of concern and reduce false positives.

A Heart for Seniors
The Peabody Heritage Foundation is part of the legacy of George F. Peabody. This Fox Valley businessman and community leader provided for seniors and others who had limited funds or mobility.
The Heritage and Peabody Manor community retirement facility was built to serve seniors and others who need assisted living. They have a place to live and the level of skilled care they need thanks to his legacy and the endowment fund he established. Today, this legacy continues with the support of donors like you.
Needs Adjusted Choices
When an elderly neighbor needs care, the decisions can be daunting. At Peabody Manor, seniors in need can live in a cheerful, nurturing environment. Donor support gives them more choices for better quality of life.
ThedaCare Peabody Manor is a Medicare-certified facility. Seniors receive long-term or short-term skilled nursing care as well as rehabilitation services. Located on 34 wooded acres on the south side of Appleton, it’s an inviting place to call home. Seniors enjoy walking trails, resident-tended gardens and other amenities.

On July 31, 2023 ThedaCare Family of Foundations hosted its annual High Flyin’ Golf Outing in support of ThedaCare Cancer Care. Nearly 130 golfers gathered at North Shore Golf Club in Menasha to raise more than $100,000 in support of our patients. They were met with fun and education on the course as volunteers highlighted unique areas of Cancer Care and treatment enhancements such as Precision Medicine, Pharmaceutical Trials, Early Detection Screening and more. This year our golfers followed the story of a featured patient, Dan, on the course and heard about his journey, milestones and successes.
Remarks from Dave Kievet, President & COO of lead sponsor The Boldt Company, wrapped up the evening, underscoring the importance of supporting community health and thanking the attendees – many of whom are business partners of ThedaCare – for showing support of our ThedaCare teams who continue to pursue our mission of improving the health and well-being of our communities. Dan was also present to meet and speak with those impacted by his story.
