ThedaCare has promoted Chris Hess to the new position of vice president, market development and sales.
Jonah Wagner did something in early February he wasn’t sure was going to happen: He attended a class at the University of Wisconsin‒Oshkosh. Wagner was riding his motorcycle at a high rate of speed last August 3 when he wasn’t able to negotiate a curve and his brakes locked up, sending him directly into a fence post.

ThedaCare has named Mark Hallett, MD, chief clinical officer. In this newly designed role, Dr. Hallett will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative leadership to improve safety and quality as well as physician leadership development throughout ThedaCare.

ThedaCare Child Learning Center has earned accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the nation’s leading organization of early childhood professionals. The ThedaCare Child Learning Center is on the Appleton Medical Center campus and serves the children of ThedaCare employees.

The Shawano Medical Center-Rehabilitation Services building at 116 N. Main Street in Shawano has been sold to local businessman and developer Doug Burris.

ThedaCare has named Carrie Riley, RN, MSN, to the newly created position of Director of Population Health Development and Integration. Riley will lead ThedaCare’s efforts to research, explore and implement health care models that serve specifically identified patient groups.
