ThedaCare welcomes Danielle Vanevenhoven, APNP, to ThedaCare Physicians-Darboy. Vanevenhoven, a nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine for all ages, transferred from ThedaCare Physicians-Neenah West to be closer to her family and working in the community where she lives.
When Chad Voskuil, MD, was finishing his residency at the Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency program in Appleton in 2007, he searched for a position that would allow him the best of both worlds: have a bustling family medicine practice without the demands of being on call.

ThedaCare has promoted Pam Malkowski and Mike Radtke to new vice president roles at its hospitals. Malkowski is the new vice president of clinical/nursing operations at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah while Radtke is the new vice president of perioperative services and acute interventions.

The Shawano Medical Center Auxiliary recently pledged $65,000 to the Shawano Medical Center Foundation Capital Campaign, Living Well Together, in support of the new ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawano. The new facility, expected to open in 2015, will replace the 82-year-old Shawano Medical Center and create a local center for convenient, coordinated health care.

Two regional health care systems are training their personnel on what to do if an active shooter enters their workplace. ThedaCare and Ministry Health Care, which includes Affinity Health System, began training their managers and other leadership in the spring, and rolled out the educational program to other employees. The two health systems employ more than 10,000 people in Northeast Wisconsin.

ThedaCare has hired Joshua Block, MD, a family medicine physician at ThedaCare Physicians–Darboy. Dr. Block has special interest in sports medicine, musculoskeletal illnesses and in-office procedures.
The medical records of patients from Community Health Network (CHN) and Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital will now be accessible electronically to medical providers at ThedaCare, following an electronic health records expansion after the three Northeast health systems affiliated.
