Our top priority is providing immediate care to the patients who need it most. If you need a routine physical, annual wellness checkup or highly specialized care, your appointment may be scheduled at a later time.
For immediate, non-emergency concerns, you now have multiple convenient options:
- Urgent and Walk-In Care: Visit a ThedaCare urgent or walk-in location, no appointment necessary, for treatment, screenings, x-rays, ultrasounds, lab work, and limited immunizations. Available for children 3 months and older, and all new and existing patients.
- Virtual Care: Speak with a provider from the comfort of your home for many common conditions through our eVisit or Video Visit services.

ThedaCare urgent and walk-in care services provide convenient access to treatment and diagnostic testing for a variety of minor injuries and conditions. This includes offering services such as screenings, X-rays, ultrasounds, lab work and limited immunizations. Urgent and walk-in care are available for new and existing patients, as well as children 3 months or older. Please note, each ThedaCare urgent and walk-in care site is billed as a clinic rather than an urgent care. Your usual clinic copay, benefits and provider network will apply.

Orthopedic Walk-in Services
ThedaCare provides urgent care services for orthopedic-specific conditions at two locations: ThedaCare Medical Center-Orthopedic, Spine and Pain in Appleton and ThedaCare Orthopedic Walk-in Care in Oshkosh. Our highly-skilled orthopedic team and athletic trainers are available to treat a wide range of conditions that need immediate attention, including dislocations, simple fractures, sports injuries, sprains, strains, and more.
Behavioral Health Walk-in Services
Behavioral Health Walk-in Care is an outpatient clinic for adults who have an immediate behavioral health need. Walk-in Care provides an assessment of needs, referral and short-term treatment, as well as coordination of on-going treatment. Services provided includes nursing assessment, referrals and scheduling for outpatient, psychiatric services, counseling, treatment referrals and discharge planning, and care management. Please note: controlled substances are not prescribed from this clinic.
