Connect with a care provider from the comfort of home using ThedaCare’s Video Visits. We offer two flexible options to fit your needs: On-Demand Video Visits and Scheduled Video Visits.

  • On-Demand Video Visits let you connect instantly with the first available provider for minor injuries, colds, allergies, rashes, and other common illnesses or concerns. No appointment required, available daily from 7 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.
  • Scheduled Video Visits allow you to book a face-to-face video appointment with your preferred provider for non-emergency concerns or ongoing care. These visits are by appointment and available daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Perfect for routine follow-ups, chronic condition management, and mild to moderate symptoms.

Both options are secure, convenient, and accessible on any smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera.

When to Choose a Video Visit

Video visits are a great option if:

  • You are a new or existing ThedaCare patient
  • You want to see a provider face-to-face without leaving home
  • Your symptoms are mild to moderate
  • You prefer to have an appointment or want care immediately (On-Demand)
  • You have a non-emergency urgent care need*
    *If you have severe or concerning symptoms, please contact your provider or seek emergency care right away.

How Video Visits Work

You’ll need:

  • A device with a camera, microphone, and internet access (smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop)
  • A supported browser: Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Safari (not Internet Explorer)**

Scheduling & Access:

  • Scheduled Video Visits: Book through MyThedaCare or by contacting your primary care provider’s office.
  • On-Demand Video Visits: Start your visit anytime during available hours, no appointment needed.

You’ll receive appointment reminders and instructions on how to check in and prepare for your visit.

Pro tip: Choose a quiet, well-lit, private spot and test your device’s audio and video before your visit.

**Accessing video visits on a laptop or desktop computer requires one of the following Internet browsers: Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Safari. If necessary, download Chrome for free. Video visits will not work on Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Video Visit Billing & Insurance

Like in-person office visits, video visits are billed to the patient’s insurance; copay, deductible and co-insurance will be determined based on benefits applied by your insurance provider.
