Goal-Oriented and Flexible Recovery Care
Substance Use Disorders (SUD) are strongly influenced by both genetic and environmental factors. Substance use disorders are progressive, chronic and sometimes fatal; however, with proper treatment, lifelong recovery is possible.
At ThedaCare Behavioral Health, our approach to treatment is flexible, comprehensive and goal oriented, based on an individual patient’s needs. Treatment will be respectful and professional with awareness of the patient’s acceptance, understanding and motivation level. We emphasize building on the patient’s strengths and empower them to make their own decisions.
Behavioral Health SUD Services are designed for individuals struggling with substance use. Substance use disorders often involves the misuse of one or more of the following:
- Alcohol
- Marijuana
- Prescription medications
- Opiates
- Cocaine
- Methamphetamine
- Hallucinogens
- Inhalants
Our individualized treatment options include a combination of the following:
- Comprehensive Services: Individual and group therapy of varying lengths and intensities are available based on a person’s acceptance of the disease and his or her motivation level.
- Building on Strengths: Our licensed counselors help uncover patients’ strengths and empower them to make important decisions that will support their healthy recovery.
- An Unbroken Circle of Care: Providers can develop wrap-around services in support of a patient’s recovery program. This may include a referral to Mental Health or Psychiatric Services.
