ThedaCare Welcomes Hospitalist to Waupaca

Gregrey Hiltgen, MD, a hospitalist, has joined ThedaCare and is practicing at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. Dr. Hiltgen has special interest in colonoscopy.

Gregrey Hiltgen, MD, a hospitalist, has joined ThedaCare and is practicing at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. Dr. Hiltgen has special interest in colonoscopy.

After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Dr. Hiltgen earned his master’s and medical degrees from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He completed his residency training through St. Luke’s Family Medicine program in Milwaukee and received the American Heart Association Research Fellowship Award. Dr. Hiltgen’s professional affiliations include the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Wisconsin Medical Society.

When he’s not working, Dr. Hiltgen has a hobby of restoring old Jeeps. He also enjoys many outdoor activities, including camping, hunting, fishing and canoeing.
