A Legacy of Community Care

It started small. One woman’s hope for her community and her gift that sparked a healthcare movement, igniting a legacy of compassion and care throughout the region. Theda Clark Peters’ generous donation laid the foundation for a health system that continues to grow and expand. Today, ThedaCare delivers care to more than 650,000 residents in 17 counties and employs approximately 7,000 healthcare professionals. The organization has 180 points of care, including eight hospitals.

ThedaCare Foundation-Appleton

ThedaCare Foundation-Berlin

Located along the Fox River, the city of Berlin is home to more than 5,000 residents from Green Lake and Waushara counties. The city houses ThedaCare’s nationally recognized hospital system, nearly a dozen outlying clinics, as well as Juliette Manor and Juliette Terrace, our skilled nursing and senior living residences. ThedaCare Medical Center-Fond du Lac

Fond du Lac is renowned for its rich history of outdoor recreation, picturesque parks and rolling farm fields. This vibrant community of over 44,000 residents values exceptional care and support. In 2025, the opening of ThedaCare Medical Center–Fond du Lac marked a new era in local healthcare. ThedaCare is proud to serve this thriving community, offering around-the-clock emergency and inpatient care, as well as lab and diagnostic imaging services, cardiovascular care and neurology.

Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital-Manitowoc

ThedaCare Hospice Foundation

The ThedaCare Hospice Care team offers compassionate support for patients and families during end-of-life care. Through the ThedaCare Family of Foundations, we provide programs that ensure dignity and comfort in this critical time.

Generous donors help us deliver exceptional care through individual gifts, memorials and planned donations. ThedaCare Foundation-Neenah

Nestled quietly along the shores of Lake Winnebago, Neenah is home to over 27,000 residents. Our namesake Theda Clark Peters secured a brighter future for the people of Neenah and Northeastern Wisconsin through her generous donation that laid the foundation for a health system that continues to grow and expand. Today, ThedaCare delivers care to more than 600,000 residents in 17 counties and employs approximately 7,000 healthcare professionals.

ThedaCare Foundation-Neenah remains dedicated to honoring Theda Clark Peters’ legacy by quickly addressing the community’s needs while ensuring expert, community-focused care helps residents continue to live their unique best lives. ThedaCare Foundation-New London

New London is a charming community located along the scenic Wolf River. Home to around 7,000 residents, this small town is known for its friendly atmosphere and rich history. The New London Foundation is essential in providing patient-centered care right in our community. In addition to foundational support, the ThedaCare Medical Center Foundation-New London Quasi Endowment Fund supports external nonprofit grants that serve constituents in New London, Clintonville, Manawa, Hortonville, Marion, Weyauwega, Shiocton, Fremont and Embarrass. ThedaCare Medical Center-Oshkosh

Locals and beyond know Oshkosh as a vibrant community that combines big-city amenities with a small-town feel. Situated along the western shore of Lake Winnebago, Oshkosh offers stunning waterfront views and ample outdoor recreation opportunities. The city’s health care needs shift throughout the year, with increased demand during major events like EAA AirVenture and as the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh welcomes thousands of students. Residents and visitors alike benefit from a community that values care and adaptability as local needs change.

Since 2011, ThedaCare has proudly served Oshkosh with primary, urgent, and specialty care, as well as physical therapy, occupational health, behavioral health, oncology and home medical equipment. ThedaCare Medical Center-Oshkosh, opened in January 2026, features 24/7 emergency and inpatient care, outpatient surgery, primary and specialty care, pediatrics, cardiology, orthopedics, pharmacy, labs and comprehensive imaging.

Peabody Heritage Foundation

Located on 24 wooded acres on the south side of Appleton, the Heritage and Peabody Manor is an skilled-care community retirement facility built to serve seniors and others who need assisted living. This provides personalized choices for each resident to make sure they receive the level of care need throughout a wide array of services, activities and friends.

The Peabody Heritage Foundation supports skilled nursing care and assisted living, honoring the legacy of George F. Peabody, a respected businessman and community leader from Fox Valley. He dedicated himself to helping seniors and individuals with limited funds or mobility. Thanks to his vision and the endowment fund he established, today’s seniors have a comfortable place to live and receive the skilled care they require. This legacy continues with the generous support of donors like you, who help provide more choices and enhance their quality of life.

The ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawano was recently recognized as one of the top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation. The Shawano Foundation is essential in providing patient-centered care right in our community.
