Thedacare’s Cancer Care Research Program provides patients access to clinical trials which offer the potential of improving outcomes and contributing to scientific progress. Through your participation, we are able to gain additional knowledge and expertise that allow us to advance care and treatment options for you and future patients. We are currently conducting trials for the following conditions:

What We Do

The National Cancer Institute Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) is a national network that brings cancer clinical trials and care delivery studies to people in their own communities.

ThedaCare partners with Marshfield Clinic Health System and Gunderson Health System to form WINCORP (Wisconsin National Community Oncology Program) with the goal of providing access to the latest in cancer clinical research to patients in the Northeast Wisconsin area.

To that end, we continue to expand our portfolio of trials to test novel treatments in a variety of cancers, and are actively expanding access to our satellite cancer centers.

This year we are proud to announce the launch of the Precision Medicine Program. Our Precision Medicine Coordinator closely collaborates with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Carbone Cancer Center to submit genomic testing results of all cancer patients for expert review from the Precision Medicine Molecular Tumor Board. Their recommendations, including suggestions for potential clinical trial enrollment are then communicated to the patient and their clinical team.
