Sara Messner (Mitchell) is very familiar with the doctor’s office at ThedaCare Physicians-Clintonville. “It’s the clinic I always had care at,” said Messner, 26, a Clintonville native. She is thrilled to return to her hometown as a physician assistant to provide the same quality of care she remembers receiving while growing up. “I enjoy being able to see multiple generations of a family,” said Messner. “People come in and they know my parents or my family.”

In its continued commitment to patients and the community, ThedaCare today announced plans to build a new regional cancer center in Appleton. The details of the $44 million project were approved at the Oct. 21 meeting of the ThedaCare Board of Trustees. The new facility will be built on land ThedaCare owns near the Encircle Health campus on Capital Drive.
