Addition of Andrew J. Collins, MD, Expands Local Care Offerings
Pediatrician Andrew J. Collins, MD, is now seeing patients at CHN Medical Center in Ripon, providing parents with local access to a healthcare provider who specializes in children.
Dr. Collins provides medical care to children from newborns through the teen years. He has a special interest in preventative medicine, genetics and asthma.
“I view pediatrics as a partnership between the doctor, child and their family. Getting to know the family and child, understanding their concerns and needs and working together to address those needs are the keys to a healthy childhood,” Dr. Collins said. “I also feel education is essential and that parents understand all of the changes their children will go through as they get older.”
Dr. Collins received his bachelor’s and medical degree from the University of Wisconsin. He completed his residency at the David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California.
In addition to seeing pediatric patients in Ripon, Dr. Collins also sees patients at ThedaCare Physicians-Oshkosh.
In his free time, Dr. Collins enjoys spending time with his family, biking, fishing, cooking, and reading.
