ThedaCare Providers in Berlin Wild Rose Remain in Network Health Plan

Recently, local members of Medicare Advantage plans offered by Network Health Plan were informed in a letter from Network Health Plan that their ThedaCare doctors and facilities (which include Community Health Network, Waushara Family Physicians, Berlin Memorial Hospital and Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital) were no longer participating in the plan. Nothing could be further from the truth!

ThedaCare Board Approves Exploration of New Facilities

The ThedaCare Board of Trustees this week approved a long-term exploration of facilities throughout the ThedaCare nine-county service area, and their ability to meet the communities’ expectations for outstanding health care into the future. This includes the possibility of bringing together the system’s two Fox Cities hospitals into one premier, regional health care destination that provides the highest quality health care at the lowest cost for generations to come.

ThedaCare Invests in Smart Choice MRI

ThedaCare, the largest healthcare system in Northeast Wisconsin, is investing $3 million in Mequon-based Smart Choice MRI, the first MRI provider in the country to offer every MRI for an all-inclusive fee of $600 or less. ThedaCare is a community-based health system that reinvests in the communities it serves. ThedaCare sees potential for consumers in Smart Choice MRI while the new partnership creates an opportunity for both companies to learn from each other and use their knowledge and expertise to bring additional value to patients.

Weiland Named ThedaCare Vice President of Philanthropy

ThedaCare has named Courtney Weiland the new vice president of philanthropy. She oversees the ThedaCare Family of Foundations and volunteer services at Appleton Medical Center and Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah.
