Nationally, April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). The goal of SAAM is to raise public awareness about sexual violence and educate communities on how to prevent it. Sexual assault crimes plague the nation and affect not just individuals, but entire communities.

I’d recommend ThedaCare, hands down. I knew I’d get the right treatment here. I knew everything would be up-to-date and state-of-the-art. Also, it was nice to get to know the people at the hospital.

I want to try things naturally first. Dr. Ken’s been so great about that. But at times, he will honestly say, for example, “Wren really needs an antibiotic.” And I know he’s doing what’s in the best interest of my kids because I know he respects that I prefer a more natural approach.
I was forced to depend on others but hated to ask. Then a friend said, “If you don’t ask someone for help, you’re denying them the opportunity for grace.” That was good advice as I started rehab right after surgery. The help they gave was phenomenal and the exercises they’ve taught me have worked really well.
