ThedaCare announced that Kathryn Hanson, APNP, has joined ThedaCare-Physicians-Weyauwega as its full-time provider. She will continue the care provided by Roy Buchholz, MD, who recently retired.

Food Pantry Reaps Bounty From Gardens

The New London Community Cupboard has enjoyed a plentiful harvest, thanks to donations from the Community Gardens in New London. The food pantry has received 300 pounds of fresh produce, which it has distributed weekly to the 40 families it serves.

Hip Replacement Doesnt Slow Kaukauna Man in Half Marathon

An avid walker who has completed 35 full-marathons and six half-marathons, Jerry Brien didn’t let a hip replacement slow him down. He finished the recent ThedaCare Orthopedic Care Half-Marathon in the Fox Cities.

THRIVES Classes Thriving in Waupaca

Classes offered through THRIVES, or Teaming for Health & Resiliency Improvement Via Education and Support, are returning in October. “Living Well with Chronic Conditions” class will start Oct. 9 and Powerful Tools for Caregivers will start Oct. 7. Another THRIVES class, Stepping On, has a waiting list.
