Dinner Is On Us

During a road trip this month, Feeding America Wisconsin and UnitedHealthcare are donating food to community and faith-based organizations in Northeast Wisconsin, including: Waupaca, Shawano, Keshena, and the Fox Cities.

“We are proud to partner with ThedaCare and Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin to ensure people throughout the state have access to fresh, nutritious food. Through partnerships like these we have the opportunity to help people facing a shortage of healthy food live healthier lives,” said Ralph Beck, chief operations officer for UnitedHealthcare Community Plan in Wisconsin.

According to a recent survey by Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, the need for healthy and available food has been on the rise since 2006; a 40-percent increase in the number of people relying on the organization for food.
