The triathlon kicks off at 7 a.m. at South Park. The long course consists of a half mile swim, 20 mile bike and 3.1 mile run. The short course consists of a quarter mile swim, 12 mile bike and 2 mile run. Also, new this year is an intermediate relay course for kids 11 to 15: quarter mile swim, 12 mile bike and 2 mile run.

ThedaCare has named Ryan McCartney vice president of marketing. He replaces Jim Matheson, who was recently promoted to senior vice president of strategic planning and marketing.
A new facility will bring improved skilled nursing services to Berlin area residents. Community Health Network and ThedaCare are building a 37-bed skilled nursing facility to replace the aging Juliette Manor.
A new ThedaCare Kids Fun Run will be part of the 8th Annual Reach the Peak Run at Nordic Mountain Ski Resort on Saturday, October 10 to help raise money for a local after school enrichment program.
