Theda Clark Peters’ generous donation laid the foundation for a health system that continues to grow and expand. Today, ThedaCare delivers care to more than 650,000 residents in
17 counties and employs approximately 7,000 health care professionals. The organization has 180 points of care, including eight hospitals.

Peabody Heritage Foundation
Located on 24 wooded acres on the south side of Appleton, the Heritage and Peabody Manor is an skilled-care community retirement facility built to serve seniors and others who need assisted living. This provides personalized choices for each resident to make sure they receive the level of care need throughout a wide array of services, activities and friends.
The Peabody Heritage Foundation supports skilled nursing care and assisted living, honoring the legacy of George F. Peabody, a respected businessman and community leader from Fox Valley. He dedicated himself to helping seniors and individuals with limited funds or mobility. Thanks to his vision and the endowment fund he established, today’s seniors have a comfortable place to live and receive the skilled care they require.
