The ThedaCare Family of Foundations will host an inaugural marquee event in May to bring awareness to its efforts to advance innovation in patient care and improve the overall health and wellness of people in communities across northeast and central Wisconsin.
The event features improv comedy by Brad Sherwood and Jonathan Mangum, stars of TV’s “Who’s Line is it Anyway?” and “Let’s Make a Deal.” The show is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 29, at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, 400 W. College Ave., Appleton. The festivities are open to the public.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the ThedaCare Family of Foundations Innovation Fund. The fund helps ThedaCare’s patient care teams research and deliver forward-thinking solutions, adopt new technologies and reimagine traditional forms of treatment, said Barbara Beuscher, CFRE, Senior Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer, ThedaCare Family of Foundations.
“Donor support is the key that unlocks innovation at ThedaCare,” she said. “Through the community’s generosity, the Foundation is able to help secure new technologies, support groundbreaking programs and turn ambitious ideas into real improvements for patients and their families. Whether it’s investing in advanced diagnostic tools or piloting new models of care, philanthropy helps accelerate the pace of change and ensures ThedaCare remains at the forefront of health care excellence.”
The ThedaCare Family of Foundations focuses on enhancing communities across northeast and central Wisconsin by investing directly in preventive care, advanced medical equipment and educational initiatives that help empower people in the region to live their unique, best lives. It does this through close collaboration with donors to best align their philanthropic interests with crucial needs within the ThedaCare network, ensuring such contributions make a direct impact.
The Foundation is pleased to recognize Boldt as the evening’s Title Sponsor, whose generous partnership ensures the success of this event.
“At Boldt, we believe in more than just building structures – we are deeply committed to building up the communities where we live and work,” said Dave Kievet, President and Chief Executive Officer of Boldt. “The marquee event is an opportunity to support innovative health care that strengthens our region and invests in the well-being of our neighbors. We’re proud to stand alongside ThedaCare and help create a healthier, brighter future for everyone.”
Each ticket purchased for the marquee event will help fund the Foundation’s efforts to assist ThedaCare as it works to drive meaningful advancements in disease prevention, diagnosis and care for patients in and around the local community, Beuscher said.
“This event is more than an evening of entertainment,” she explained. “It’s an opportunity for our community to come together, have fun and invest in a healthier future for all.”
