Area first responders and ThedaCare hospitals are the first in Wisconsin to use a new app-like program that helps EMS caring for a heart attack patient focus on care and better prepares the hospital – saving valuable time and increasing the chance of survival. ThedaCare is the first in the state to implement Pulsara, a standardized communication protocol that performs like an app, to simplify the response for ST-Segment Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) heart attack patients.

The City of Shawano and ThedaCare today announced new plans to clear the way for redevelopment of the ten acres now occupied by the old Shawano Medical Center.
Recently, local members of Medicare Advantage plans offered by Network Health Plan were informed in a letter from Network Health Plan that their ThedaCare doctors and facilities (which include Community Health Network, Waushara Family Physicians, Berlin Memorial Hospital and Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital) were no longer participating in the plan. Nothing could be further from the truth!

ThedaCare, the largest healthcare system in Northeast Wisconsin, is investing $3 million in Mequon-based Smart Choice MRI, the first MRI provider in the country to offer every MRI for an all-inclusive fee of $600 or less.
