Lindseys story I like the hours love the people and enjoy the work I do at ThedaCare

Lindsey knew nursing was her passion early in life. “I have always enjoyed working with people and helping them through difficult situations,” said Lindsey. “People are often very nervous when they’re heading into the operating room. It’s a big deal for them and can be stressful. I think it’s important that they have someone to answer their questions and it’s so rewarding to help them out.”

A Fresh Eyes look at our Community

I had to physically move to the Fox Valley in June in order to fully understand what an outstanding community we have here. After 26 years at Mercy Health in Ohio, first as an intern and medical resident, and eventually a system leader for the Toledo region, this was a major change for me and my family.

Counselors Assess Alcohol Problems In Patients

Kelly Timmers sees the realities of alcoholism every day. A substance abuse counselor with ThedaCare Behavioral Health, she assesses patients to determine if they have a problem with alcohol or other drugs. If there is a problem, they receive help to beat their addiction. September is national Recovery Month, an opportunity to bring awareness to alcohol and substance abuse and recovery.

ThedaCare Welcomes Taylor Doberstein DO

Dr. Doberstein received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, followed by a medical degree as doctor of osteopathic medicine from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Marshfield Clinic, and a fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Iowa.
