Influenza Outbreak Drives up eVisit Appointments

E-Visits do not require patients to go into a clinic to be seen in person by a care provider. Do you know what your blood pressure is and if it is low, normal or high? If you know the answer, you may want to check again. The American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association revised what they consider to be a “high” blood pressure level last fall.

Annual Cervical Cancer Screenings Vital

Most women are well aware of the screening process for breast cancer: monthly self-checks, annual clinical breast exams and annual mammograms after turning 40. Proper Form Reduces Shoveling Injuries

The season’s first heavy snowfall can be a literal pain in the back — or shoulder — for some people. Every winter, patients come in with lower back or shoulder pain tied to shoveling. Most injuries are caused by poor technique and failing to prepare before grabbing the shovel.
