Paul Stevens MD Joins ThedaCare Physicians

Paul Stevens, MD, once played in a cover band comprised of UW medical students in Madison called The Arrhythmias. He was the drummer, a role befitting the Lawrence University undergraduate who majored in biology and was passionate about percussion. Now a new family practice physician at ThedaCare Physicians-Appleton West, he’s returned to Appleton with his wife Elizabeth, whom he met 10 years ago; coincidentally, on their first day at Lawrence.

A Walk to Remember 2018

October has been set aside nationally as “Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.” Across the Unites States, hundreds of parents, health professionals and loved ones will participate in a walk dedicated to babies who have died.

Eighteen years ago, after Ron Green’s wife Anne had battled ovarian cancer for almost three and a half years, they transitioned her into the ThedaCare Home Hospice program, which enabled her to comfortably stay at home during her final days.

ThedaCare Medical Center Berlin Offers 3D Mammography

The staff at ThedaCare Medical Center-Berlin now offers 3-dimensional (3D) mammography technology at the hospital. A screening and diagnostic tool designed for early breast cancer detection, 3D mammography is approved for women who have a standard mammogram.
