The Menominee Tribal Clinic in Keshena recently partnered with ThedaCare to upgrade its electronic medical records system to Epic software. The widely used electronic medical records platform effectively and efficiently connects health care facilities and providers to better provide a seamless continuum of care for patients.
You would think training for an athletic event would make it easy to hit 10,000 steps every day. That’s not necessarily the case.

Working on a project – even if it’s improving our health – is easier when done in the group. That’s what four women at the ThedaCare Center for Healthcare Value discovered by participating in the Pedometer Challenge.
You may have heard about MyThedaCare, our secure electronic health portal, but are you using it for your own family? One of our goals is keeping patients connected to their health care and care teams.
ThedaCare is helping a school garden project take root in Oshkosh. A $1,670 donation from the health care system will be used to design, create, build and maintain a school garden project at Washington Elementary School in Oshkosh. Growing Oshkosh, Inc. will take ownership of the project to help get it started, said Dani Stolley, founder and president of the non-profit, organic urban Oshkosh farm that also works with schools to start their own gardens.

Because walking is such an integral part of managing diabetes, the Waupaca Diabetes Support group will offer a unique program entitled “Let’s Move.” This event will be a “walking support group meeting” and takes place on Tuesday, June 3 at 1 p.m. Participants should plan to meet the Diabetes Education office in the 900 building at Riverside Medical Center.

ThedaCare patients who need to see a medical provider out of town can now have their physicians easily send their electronic medical records to the other clinic or hospital as part of Epic’s Care Everywhere program.
