Tip-overs and furniture falls happen when children pull furniture onto themselves climb on furniture causing it to fall, or push it over onto another child. Young children are not strong enough to lift the furniture off of themselves if they are trapped. Injuries include serious bruising, internal organ injuries and fractures

To better serve the region's cancer patients of today and tomorrow, ThedaCare is building an integrated cancer center where patients will receive the care and services they need in one location. To jump-start the $44 million project, today Michael Frohna, executive director for the ThedaCare Family of Foundations, announced “Connect: a community campaign to transform cancer care in our region,” a $7 million capital campaign. The new facility will be built on land ThedaCare owns in Appleton near Encircle Health on Capital Drive.

November has been designated as Prostate Cancer Awareness month. The prostate is a gland unique to men that is located at the base of the bladder. It naturally enlarges with age and can cause benign urinary symptoms but also can develop cancer. The goal of this article is to help raise awareness and provide some information on prostate cancer and screening.
