Family Practice, Internal Medicine and Endocrine Clinics will Share New Location
ThedaCare announced plans for a newly constructed clinic in Neenah to replace its two family practice locations on S. Commercial Street and Tullar Road in Neenah and the endocrine and internal medicine clinics currently located in the office buildings at Theda Clark Medical Center. The newly consolidated clinic’s future location is not yet confirmed, although officials said they are focused on property that is easily accessible from Hwy. 41. Construction is slated to begin this spring and should take 10 to 12 months.
“We have outgrown a number of our clinic sites in Neenah and face aging facilities that need to be upgraded,” said Jeff Mitchell, Vice President of ThedaCare Physicians. “We carefully reviewed the situation and learned that one clinic would make the best use of our resources and increase the level of care and convenience we can deliver to our Neenah patients.”
Merging of the primary care sites enables ThedaCare to provide lab services, X-ray, MRI, mammography and other diagnostic and screening services to a larger patient population. The current clinics do not have space for all of these services. “From a cost perspective, we will not be duplicating services and equipment, and our Neenah patients will have equal and convenient access to these tests all within one new clinic building,” Mitchell said.
