Breast Health Should be Top of Mind All Year

A family physician in Waupaca commends women who schedule their mammograms, which can detect breast cancer early. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, which is a great time to remind women to get a mammogram, said Zachary Baeseman, MD, family physician at ThedaCare Physicians-Waupaca. However, the importance of breast health should be top of mind all year round, Dr. Baeseman added.

ThedaCare Unveils New Hybrid Surgical Suite

ThedaCare-affiliated physicians performed the first surgery in the new ThedaCare hybrid surgical suite on the campus of Appleton Medical Center on October 6. The high-tech operating suite is used for vascular surgery, interventional cardiology, and cardiac surgery.

Juliette Manor Safe House Open to All Area Trick or Treaters

Juliette Manor will once again transform into a “Trick or Treat Safe House” beginning at 3:00pm on Saturday, October 31st. The Juliette Manor Halloween gang including residents, families, staff, and volunteers host this annual Halloween Safe House through a supervised and safe trick-or-treating line up.
