ThedaCare Welcomes Two New Members to Board of Trustees

Dallas and Rao to Join Governing Body

NEENAH, Wis. – Two leaders will join the ThedaCare Board of Trustees, the governing body for the local, not-for-profit health care organization.

Jim Kotek, President and CEO of Menasha Corporation and Chair of the ThedaCare Board of Trustees, announced Charles Dallas and Anitha Rao, MD, MA, have been elected to the Board, effective January 1, 2021.

“The ThedaCare Board is proud to support the organizations’ vision of Population Health, empowering patients and the community to improve their health and wellbeing through access to comprehensive care, programs and services,” said Kotek. “Board members ensure the organization advances its mission of improving community health, while providing financial and quality oversight and strategic decision-making.”

“We are grateful that our Board supports decisions to help ensure safe care for patients and families in our communities,” said Imran A. Andrabi, MD, ThedaCare President and CEO. “Charles Dallas and Dr. Anitha Rao will be significant additions to the board, and will ensure our mission is strong and our focus is unwavering on the delivery of quality care to those we are privileged to serve.”

Charles Dallas is a Merger & Acquisition Advisor at Cornerstone Business. Previously, he worked for Genex Cooperative for 30 years in the finance division, where he also served as officer on their board of directors for more than two decades. He is committed to volunteerism, giving his time to more than 25 non-profits and organizations such as Bay Area Workforce Development and the Shawano School Board. Dallas has also served on the ThedaCare Shawano Board of Trustees for more than nine years.

“For nearly a decade, I have supported the mission to improve the health of the communities and growth goals of ThedaCare, and look forward to being part of the future development,” said Dallas. “Coming from a rural community like Shawano, it is important that patients feel confident knowing we have a health system in our region that delivers comprehensive care, and they don’t need to go far to get the kind of care they deserve.”

Dr. Anitha Rao, is a geriatric neurologist and Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Neurocern, the leading neuroinformatics and data analytics company that provides strategic and medical insights for enterprise clients. Dr. Rao is double board-certified in Neurology and Psychiatry and is one of only 600 dementia experts in the nation with subspecialty training in Alzheimer’s disease and neurodegenerative disorders. In addition to joining the ThedaCare Board of Trustees, she serves as the newly elected 2020-2022 Vice-Chair of the American Academy of Neurology’s Geriatric Section and she sits on the Innovation and Steering committee at the Society of Actuaries, and the Long Term Care Insurance ThinkTank. Her pioneering research has been highlighted by the Society of Actuaries, American Health Insurance Plans and the Alzheimer’s Association.

“I look forward to joining the ThedaCare Board of Trustees,” said Dr. Rao. “I deeply believe in ThedaCare’s dedication to becoming a leader in Population Health. To improve outcomes, it’s essential for our health systems to work with communities and understand people from a physical, social and genetics point of view. By providing easy access to high quality care, we can empower people to live their best lives through better health.”
