BARIATRIC SURGERY CENTER RECERTIFIED AS CENTER OF EXCELLENCE
ThedaCare Program Recognized for High-Quality Care
NEENAH, Wis. – ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah bariatric center, in a partnership with Midwest Bariatric Solutions/Surgical Associates of Neenah, S.C., was recertified by The Clinical Sciences Institute (CSI) of Optum from a survey provided for the Bariatric Centers of Excellence (COE) network.
The honor recognizes the program’s expertise and cost efficiency in delivering specialized bariatric care.
“The recertification from Optum demonstrates that the bariatric team at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah is committed to patients and families,” said Dr. Kevin Wasco, co-medical director of ThedaCare Bariatric Surgery Center and co-founder of Midwest Bariatric Solutions. “Those who choose to go through bariatric surgery will know they have an experienced bariatric weight loss team right by their side.”
The team ensures patients are supported before and after surgery in all aspects of weight loss, both physically and mentally.
