New Signs Going Up, Correlating with New Moniker

Riverside Medical Center will change its name on August 1 to ThedaCare Medical Center-Waupaca. Exterior signs mark the official transformation.

CEO Craig Kantos said he and the hospital’s Board of Directors approved the change earlier this year. “The new branding shows ThedaCare’s commitment to its patients,” he said.

Rollout of the new brand transformation began last year with ThedaCare Medical Center-New London and ThedaCare Physicians-New London. ThedaCare has a new logo, which features the “ThedaCare” name in bold black lettering beneath four colorful, interlocking hearts. The heart has been part of ThedaCare’s visual identity for many years; the updated mark continues to provide easy recognition while underscoring the importance of care and caring, love and connection.

ThedaCare Physicians, ThedaCare At Home, ThedaCare At Work, ThedaCare Behavioral Health,, all which have locations in Waupaca, will also get the new signage but their names will remain the same.

The rebranding launch closely ties the seven ThedaCare hospitals, physician clinics and specialty practices together while emphasizing its commitment to providing patient-centered care as a community healthcare partner. The brand transformation will be completed later this year.
