ThedaCare Welcomes Pulmonary Physician Patel

Sanjeevkumar Patel, MD, is now on the medical staff of ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton and ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah as a physician specializing in pulmonary and critical care medicine. He is a member of the staff at Fox Valley Pulmonary Medicine.

From diagnosis to treatment and recovery, Dr. Patel is committed to providing a patient-centered experience that emphasizes good communication in all stages of the care process. He believes it is important to work closely with patients to formulate a plan of care that focuses on the primary goal of improving quality of life.

Dr. Patel is board-certified in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine. He completed his bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Saint Louis University and also received his medical degree there. His professional affiliations include the American College of Chest Physicians, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Medical Association. Dr. Patel has special interest in treating a wide range of conditions, including COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease as well as pulmonary fibrosis, hypertension and embolism.
