Smith to Lead Cardiovascular Value Stream

ThedaCare hired Shane Smith as director of its cardiovascular value stream. In this role, he will lead efforts to improve cardiovascular services throughout ThedaCare.

ThedaCare hired Shane Smith as director of its cardiovascular value stream. In this role, he will lead efforts to improve cardiovascular services throughout ThedaCare.

Smith has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in kinesiology and is also an American College of Sports Medicine Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in healthcare administration.

Smith previously worked with the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics, Wisconsin Heart, and most recently at Dean Clinic in Madison where he was clinical manager of cardiovascular and anesthesia services overseeing cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, pediatric cardiology, CHF clinic, preventive cardiology, and valve clinic.
