Award Highlights Hospital’s Dedication to High Quality Patient Care
Riverside Medical Center (RMC) recently received an award for Exemplary Service-Best Overall Performer by Avatar Solutions, a leading provider of patient surveys, which announced its 2013 award-winning hospital partners.
“We are honored to receive an award that recognizes the commitment that our providers and all staff have for our patient’s,” said Craig Kantos, CEO, RMC.
Avatar Solutions’ awards are meant to honor significant accomplishments in patient satisfaction and innovation in healthcare settings. “Avatar award winners show dedication to providing the excellent care experience that patients deserve,” said Lynn Ehrmantraut, senior vice president of Performance Improvement at Avatar Solutions. “The awards indicate these organizations are listening and responding to patient feedback and committing to provide the best experience for each individual patient.”
The Exemplary Service – Best Overall Performer designation is awarded to the top 13 facilities in Avatar’s national database of 464 organizations with the highest overall combined score for their outpatient, emergency department, inpatient and ambulatory surgery locations. This award recognizes high-performing facilities that demonstrate consistency of experiences throughout the organization.

Riverside Medical Center is a 25-bed acute-care, critical access hospital located in Waupaca.
