Nicholas V. Augelli, MD, to Practice at Appleton Medical Center
ThedaCare welcomes Nicholas V. Augelli, MD, a cardiothoracic surgeon with Appleton Cardiology. He will practice at Appleton Medical Center.
Dr. Augelli received his bachelor’s degree at Northwestern University and earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois. He completed a surgical residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan and completed a research and clinical fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Iowa. Dr. Augelli received the Press Ganey Summit Award for best cardiothoracic practice in 2011 and 2012. He is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and a Fellow with the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Chest Physicians.
When he’s not working, Dr. Augelli likes to be on the water and enjoys fishing and sailing. He also has a knack for building things.
