Doctor to Discuss Common Circulation Condition and its Treatment

People who want to learn more about proper circulation within the body and information about the common and treatable circulatory condition known as peripheral artery disease, or PAD, can attend the free community presentation, “Strained Circulation: What is PAD?”

Glenn Huth, MD, of Appleton Cardiology, will discuss how PAD can limit blood flow to the heart, brain and limbs, and even impact a person’s ability to walk. The condition, which often goes undiagnosed, can be treated through exercise, diet and smoking cessation.

The free, one-hour program begins at 6 p.m. on Tues., April 9, in the Ironwood Room at Appleton Medical Center.
