Lynda Arnoldussen enjoys the fast pace and variety of being a surgical technologist for ThedaCare

Lynda Arnoldussen joined ThedaCare 30 years ago and started working in central supply at what was then Theda Clark Medical Center. Today, she’s a surgical technologist in the inpatient surgery at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah. When asked about why she enjoys working there, she simply said, “everything!”

“I love being around the operating room,” said Arnoldussen.  “It’s always interesting to learn new things and every day is different. Each day I come in and there are new cases to prep. From blades to Band-aids, my job is to make sure the surgeons have what they need to help their patients. It’s fast-paced and very rewarding.”

She also enjoys the team she works with at ThedaCare. “We have an awesome team that works well together to keep things running smoothly,” she continued.  “It’s a good feeling to know that we helped someone during a difficult time in their lives.”

Arnoldussen enjoys the flexibility and benefits she receives from working for ThedaCare. “I’m a busy mom with two children in high school and my work hours work well with my home life,” she said. “It’s a great place to work.”

ThedaCare is hiring surgical technologists like Lynda and other perioperative roles team members.
