Sports Programs for the Male Youth Athlete

ThedaCare Orthopedic Care is offering a new sports program for young male athletes looking to improve their health and strength. “Sports Programs for the Male Youth Athlete” is designed for boys age 11-13. The six-week course runs 5:45-7:15 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning April 5.

ThedaCare Orthopedic Care is offering a new sports program for young male athletes looking to improve their health and strength.   “Sports Programs for the Male Youth Athlete” is designed for boys age 11-13.

The six-week course runs 5:45-7:15 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning April 5.  

Led by trained physical therapists, nutritionists and other health professionals, Sports Programs for the Male Youth Athlete:  

  • Teaches a total body approach for strength, balance, agility and injury prevention  
  • Educates about the importance of all-season conditioning  
  • Provides information for children, parents and coaches about nutrition, sports injuries and the psychological needs of athletes  

A parent or guardian is asked to attend the sessions, which are at the ThedaCare Orthopedic Care clinic on the Appleton Medical Center campus. The cost to attend is $75 and participation is limited to 16 children.
