ThedaCare Welcomes Certified Nurse Midwife Stam

Kathryn M. Stam, CNM, is now on the medical staff of ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton and ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah as a certified nurse midwife. She is a member of the staff at the Kaldas Center for Fertility, Surgery & Pregnancy.

Kathryn M. Stam, CNM, is now on the medical staff of ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton and ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah as a certified nurse midwife. She is a member of the staff at the Kaldas Center for Fertility, Surgery & Pregnancy.

After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin, Kathryn received her master’s degree from Marquette University. She is certified through the American Midwifery Certification Board and belongs to the American College of Nurse-Midwives and the Midwives Alliance of North America. Her special interests range from comprehensive pregnancy care to family planning and primary health services in adolescence, menopause and beyond. Kathryn has experience in several techniques for childbirth, including the Bradley Method and Hypnobirthing.

When she’s not working, Kathryn enjoys spending time with her family and cooking. She also likes to read, listen to music and be outside.
