THEDACARE TO OPEN FASTCARE CLINIC IN DARBOY

Expanding Convenient Access to Services for Patients and Families

DARBOY, Wis. – ThedaCare is set to open a new FastCare clinic in Darboy on Tuesday, September 3. The clinic will be located at ThedaCare Physicians-Darboy at W5282 Amy Avenue, Appleton, WI  54915.

“We understand busy families and the importance of having convenient care when you need it,” said Kelli Heindel, MD, medical director leading the FastCare and Walk-in Care clinic initiatives for ThedaCare. “The new FastCare location will allow ThedaCare to provide quality care and help people continue on with their day.”

FastCare clinics are staffed by ThedaCare nurse practitioners and supervised by a medical director. They provide care for common and relatively simple conditions, such as limited immunizations, flu vaccinations, screenings, and some labs, such as pregnancy tests, rapid strep, monospots and urinalysis (for females 12 and older only).

“With convenience in mind, FastCare is linked to the electronic medical records system serving the physician offices, clinics, hospitals and emergency departments of ThedaCare,” said Dr. Heindel. “You do not have to be an existing ThedaCare patient; the clinic is open to anyone.”

No appointments are needed, and the FastCare clinics have extended hours, making it convenient for busy families to find the care they need after hours, on weekends and holidays.

  • Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Holidays, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

FastCare clinics accept most insurance. Office visit co-pays and normal office visit charges apply. FastCare cannot conduct diagnostic tests such as x-rays, ultrasounds or more intensive lab work. All patients must be 18 months or older.
