Recently, local members of Medicare Advantage plans offered by Network Health Plan were informed in a letter from Network Health Plan that their ThedaCare doctors and facilities (which include Community Health Network, Waushara Family Physicians, Berlin Memorial Hospital and Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital) were no longer participating in the plan. Nothing could be further from the truth!
We want to be very clear: The letter was completely incorrect. Nothing has changed for our patients. Their doctors are absolutely still included in the plan for the full year. Other ThedaCare providers our patients may see are also still included in the plan.
Our patients care about staying with the doctors who know them, know their health history and understand their life situations. Of course they do! We couldn’t agree more – that’s the right emphasis. Our doctors are dedicated to serving their patients, and value their relationship with each one as a partner in care.
Meeting our patients’ healthcare needs is our highest priority. We appreciate the privilege of serving our communities, and highly value their trust and confidence. Thank you to everyone who is helping us spread the word about Network Health Plan’s error, and providing reassurance that nothing has changed for our patients.
