ThedaCare Orthopedic Care at Appleton Medical Center welcomes David Conrad, MD, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee.
Dr. Conrad earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin and received his medical degree from the UW-School of Medicine and Public Health. He completed his residency training through UW-Hospitals & Clinics. He completed his orthopedic fellowship training in adult reconstructive surgery with Dr. Douglas Dennis at Colorado Joint Replacement in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Conrad earned many awards and scholarships throughout his educational career and was the recipient of the Ganser Fellowship at Meriter Hospital in 2002.
In treating patients, Dr. Conrad is focused on safe, compassionate care that is patient-centered. Outside of work, he enjoys fly fishing for trout, distance running and cross training.
