Terry Voigt to Direct Department Covering Care Before, During and After Surgery
Terry Voigt is the new vice president of perioperative services for ThedaCare. Voigt will provide administrative and financial leadership for planning, directing, staffing, coordinating and improving functions and activities of all phases of the perioperative services department, which covers the care patients receive before, during and after an operation.
Voigt comes to ThedaCare from the University of Minnesota Health where he had been vice president, perioperative services since 2014. In that role, he promoted clinical excellence and program growth in a highly competitive marketplace and ensured that high quality services and excellent clinical performance were delivered within professional regulatory and accrediting body standards.
Before his work with the University of Minnesota Health, he worked for many years in perioperative care, anesthesia clinical and leadership experience in small and large healthcare healthcare organizations.
Voigt is a certified registered nurse anesthetist and also was an associate faculty member with St. Mary’s University’s School of Nurse Anesthesia in Minneapolis.
