Occupational Health Clinic for ThedaCare At Work Opens May 1

On Monday, May 1, ThedaCare will open a full-service, occupational health clinic for ThedaCare At Work. It is in the new ThedaCare Physicians-Neenah clinic that recently opened at 333 N. Green Bay Road.

“We are excited to expand our occupational medicine services to Neenah,” said Chris Hess, vice president market development and sales for ThedaCare At Work. “Our program is designed around the unique needs of employers and employees here in the Fox Cities. We will offer a full range of services from pre-placement physicals and drug screens to helping an employee with an injury remain functional and return to work in a full capacity quickly and safely.”

The new occupational health clinic will provide:

  • Injury/Illness Treatment
  • Physical Exams (DOT, Pre-Employment, Respirator)
  • Drug and Alcohol Testing
  • Pre-Work Screenings
  • Immunizations
  • Audiometric Testing
  • Spirometry Testing

ThedaCare At Work has been very effective in the Fox Cities. Ninety-eight percent of employees with an initial injury receive a same-day appointment to assess the injury and determine treatment and 99 percent employees with a work-related injury return to work with zero time lost.

“Our goal is a healthy, safe and productive workforce,” continued Hess. “We believe this is an important part of ThedaCare’s overall mission of improving the health of our community.”

The clinic will be staffed with a physician and nurse practitioner who work at both the Appleton and Neenah clinics. Nurses and medical assistants will also be on hand to work with patients.  People can reach the clinic by calling 920.454.7180. It will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
