Douglas Connor, MD, to Specialize in Sports Medicine
ThedaCare Orthopedic Care at Appleton Medical Center welcomes Douglas Connor, MD, a sports medicine physician who specializes in pediatric and adolescent sports medicine.
Board-certified in pediatrics and internal medicine, Dr. Connor received his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin and also completed his combined residency training there. He received a pediatric sports medicine fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Connor is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Pediatrics – Council on Sports Medicine and Fitness. Some of his special interests and experience in the field include concussion management, non-operative fracture care, overuse injury, acute injury treatment and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
Dr. Connor enjoys spending time with his family when he’s not at work. He keeps active as a recreational runner and athlete and likes to get out on the golf course whenever he can.
