Providing an Extensive Background in Healthcare Marketing and Communications

APPLETON, Wis. – ThedaCare is pleased to announce Megan Manahan as Chief Brand Officer for the Wisconsin health system.

The Chief Brand Officer is a newly created and important role within in the organization to support growth strategy. Manahan will oversee a broad range of strategies including marketing, brand positioning and identity, consumer insights, public relations and reputation management, community outreach, advertising, digital and social, and employee communications and engagement.

 

Manahan brings an extensive background in healthcare marketing and communications. She spent the last 28 years at Mercy Health, the largest healthcare provider in Ohio, in a number of leadership roles. Most recently she served as the Vice President of Marketing Strategy and served as System Director of Brand, Marketing and Communications and Regional Vice President of Marketing and Communications. 

She is an award-winning healthcare professional who uses marketing and communications strategies to increase revenue and market share, build brands and create internal engagement and alignment. She has received numerous honors from the American Hospital Association in recognition of her market development programs.
 
Megan holds a Master of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership from the University of Findlay and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising from The Ohio State University.
