Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Endocrine Clinics to Share Location

ThedaCare will begin construction in December on its new centralized Neenah primary care clinic on 9.4 acres at 333 N. Green Bay Road between Main Street and Winchester Road in Neenah. The land has been cleared of trees and construction fencing and trailers have been installed.

The 73,000-square foot clinic will replace ThedaCare’s two family practice locations on S. Commercial Street and Tullar Road in Neenah and the endocrine and internal medicine clinics at Theda Clark Medical Center. Construction is expected to take 10 to 12 months and will be completed by The Boldt Company of Appleton.

Merging of the primary care sites enables ThedaCare to provide services to a larger patient population. “We have outgrown many of our clinic sites in Neenah and face aging facilities that need to be upgraded. From a cost perspective, we will not be duplicating services and equipment, and our Neenah patients will have equal and convenient access to a wide variety of care all within one new clinic building,” said Jeff Mitchell, Vice President of ThedaCare Physicians.

Mitchell said the new Neenah clinic will be spacious, warm, and welcoming. Patients will have access to X-ray, mammograms, bone density scans, oncology services, same-day lab services, and other diagnostic and screening tests via a convenient centralized reception area. They can meet with specialists like diabetes educators and behavioral health providers who will have rotating office hours at the new clinic. “We will have 100 healthcare providers and staff at the new clinic with room to expand,” he said. Plans call for plenty of convenient parking, a drop-off area with a canopy at the front entrance, large waiting rooms, and the use of natural sunlight to brighten the interior of the building.
