When Brady Grossman started working as a food service assistant at ThedaCare nearly two years ago, he wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but he knows one thing: he enjoys every minute.
“I especially like delivering meals to people,” said Grossman. “Their faces light up whenever I walk into the room and their appreciation translates into a great day for me.”
He also enjoys the variety of things he does every day. “Some days I’m working in the cafeteria, cash registers or tray line,” he continued. “I also help with janitorial duties and basically do whatever needs to be done.”
Grossman says ThedaCare is a great place to work. “I’ve made a lot of good friends working here,” he said. “Everyone is there for you. There aren’t any cliques and everything is really transparent. The managers are friendly and really know their stuff. If you want to move up in the organization, they help you put together a growth plan.
“My experience here has made me want to move up in the ThedaCare organization and help them continue to do the good things they do for our community. Each day is an opportunity to work with people who are all there to make the day just a little bit better for others. It’s an amazing team and I’m proud to be part of it.”
